Corner of El Conde
Colonial Zone, Santo Domingo
Dominican Republic
A 24hr. hot spot
restaurant, The food is not bad, though
the service is a bit inattentive. but mostly recommended for its location and a place to
watch as the beautiful Dominican boys go by. As you have
a cocktail or Presidente, the Dominican national beer.

Absolutely the best place to people watch in Santo Domingo. They serve
a nice American breakfast and a great steak, but mostly recommended
for its location and a place to watch as the beautiful Dominican boys
go by.

In most Dominican
restaurants service can be slow and inattentive.
This is true of even the most expensive
restaurants. Just go with the flow, remember you
are on vacation. A charge of 26% is added to each
bill and it breaks down to a 16% gov't. tax (ITIBIS)
and 10% gratuity. If you are really pleased with
the service you can add another 5-10% tip (or
more, if you like). The tip is split amongst the
entire staff. Lastly, go over your bill very
carefully and if at all possible, pay with cash.
Most restaurants listed here are located in, or
near the Colonial Zone. There are many great
restaurants located all over the city. |
